There are three kinds of food values.
Ugandans lack knowledge of the food nutrients contained in several food.
Fruits are also part of the balanced diet.
Having knowledge on the nutrients contained in a given food can help people manage their consumption rates and behavior. However, in Uganda very few people know the kind of food values that they get in eating a specific food stuff and therefore a need for an in-depth sensitization. A biggest percentage of the people who are informed about the food nutrients don’t know their value to the body and the effects of lacking a given nutrient in the body.
